Molluscum: Molluscum contagiosum is a common childhood skin condition caused by the molluscum contagiosum virus (MCV). It is also epidemic as an STD among sexually active adults. All current treatment options for molluscum are invasive, and may cause pain and discomfort. Often, no treatment is recommended since the bumps are "harmless and eventually will go away". There were numerous lesions ranging in size from 1mm to 4mm, with dozens of pinpoint lesions on the trunk and extremities. 1) John's Happy Little 4 y/o Girl
The virucide [Virucide is our previous
name for ZymaDerm; Ed.] seems to be working. I have attached before and
after pictures which are only 10 days apart. New lesions continued to
break out several days after virucide's initial use, smaller lesions resolved
and erupted ones seemed to quickly die and scab over. The new skin appears
clear and healthy. 2 days after initial use of virucide our daughter returned
to normal activities. I think the lesions bothered us more than they did
her. I was skeptical when we ordered. Watching virucide stop the spread
of the lesions was a relief that only a parent could appreciate.

Thank you all so much for saving this family a lot of long hours with medications that hurt and didn't work. My 5 year old had over 200 "bumps" under his arms, on his tummy, behind his knees, in the crook of his forearm and on his testes. When my daughter of just over 14 months was diagnosed with molluscum-contagiosum, I was offered two options: leave it and wait for it to go away by itself, or burn it off under general anesthesia. The bumps spread at an incredible pace, and a LARGE part of her body was covered by these small red bumps. It looked unsightly, she constantly tried to rub it, and the daycentre was very concerned about it spreading. Despite being told I was probably wasting my money by a local doctor, I decided to order Zymaderm in any case. Three days after I started using Zymaderm, I could see a difference. A month later it was almost completely gone, and I am happy to report that now I only use Zymaderm to treat the occasional spot that appears. My daughter’s skin feels soft and smooth (like it’s meant to be) and I feel so much better. Good Evening Dr. B,
First of all I would like to say thank you for creating the ZymaDerm.
My son was about 1.5 years old when these small bumps started to appear
on his arms. At first I did not think anything of it. After about a month
they did not seem to go away. I took my son to the doctor where I was
told that he had a mild case of Molluscum Contagiosum. This mild case
within a few months began to spread. Not only was it on his arms but it
was now on his bottom, backs of his legs and his torso. By the time he
was 2 years old he had about 30 of these bumps. They continued to spread.
I took him numerous times to the doctor over the next few months and was
told that they would eventually go away and he would outgrow it. About
5 months later his day-care providers were very hesitant to let him come
to school. Now he had about 72 bumps.
I took him to the doctors again and was told that they could BURN them
off! I was horrified. These horrible little bumps were now becoming infected
at the rate of two to four per week. They were purplish and pus filled
and the most hideous color. They were causing my son to develop fevers.
A few of them were lanced by the doctor within the following weeks. All
this time he was embarrassed by the ugly "muscums" as he called
them. I finally (being fed up) decided to do research on my own. That
is when I came across your website. I am not normally a trusting person
when it comes to "Internet Remedies" but another story on the
site spoke to my husband and I. We took a leap of faith and ordered the
ZymaDerm. I treated my son for three and
a half weeks straight. Only applying it one time a night before bed. All
we can say is thank you so much. He can wear short sleeves again! I am
sure they will fade with time. He also has not suffered a single breakout
since.

Hello Briant,
I would just like to thank you for your wonderful product ZymaDerm. My
daughter had a couple of spots early this year that would not pop when
squeezed or go away. I finally asked a doctor about them in March and
was told what they were and that they would go away on their own. I did
not write down the name he told me and was not given any other helpful
info, like don't scratch them they spread!!! In May I visited another
doctor after the spots began to spread all over her legs, and finally
got the name Molluscum Contagiosum and some info. This time I went on
the web and was horrified to find out that the spots would go away but
could take up to 2 years in some cases for the body to recognise that
it had a virus to fight. So I found a Wheatgrass cream which kept the
redness down to a minimum but did not get rid of the spots. Then in August
I was looking on the web again for any other products to try and came
across your web site. I decided after reading all the other parents praise
of the ZymaDerm, to try it myself. I have attatched a photo of my daughter's
leg that I took before I started and a photo of her legs about 10 days
after I stopped using the ZymaDerm. Then another one of what they look
like now. I really can't thank you enough and nor can my daughter, because
now she does not have to scratch her legs constantly and I'm not constantly
creaming them to keep them half pie looking OK. I had almost resigned
myself to my daughter having to cover her legs all through the summer
months just to hide the Molluscum and to stop others from catching it.
Now she can look forward to a great summer. Thank you so much again.
