Naturopathix, Inc. is the commercial spin-off of the Center for Biomedical Research, Inc., an independent research institute whose physicians and scientists maintain affiliations with the VA Medical Center system, leading medical centers, and with academic institutions including the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.

The mission of CBR, Inc.is the provision of safe, effective medical care in an outpatient setting utilizing state-of-the-art knowledge combined with a low technology approach. Emphasis is on combining complimentary treatment modalities with traditional approaches to provide a safer, less technologically intensive approach to the treatment of common chronic medical conditions, and to reduce the costs of medical care. These conditions constitute the largest portion of the medical cost burden in this country. Research findings are translated into application for real life clinical situations. Emphasis is on agents and treatments which have a very low risk for potential harm.

The development of ZymaDerm products over the past 5 years has led to a successful commercial venture. Previously CBR, Inc. had undertaken both research and development of products, as well as their marketing. Naturopathix, Inc.has taken over the commercial aspects of CBR, Inc., permitting CBR, Inc. to focus on it's original mission statement of researching and developing alternative treatments that actually work for you.
